This was my first second-year assignment in my Intermedia class.
The assignment was to create a brand and visual identity for a social cause, social movement or art movement of my choice. We also had to create an accompanying Graphic Standards Manual and an advertisement which communicated my brand's mandate.
I chose to invent 'LoveBee', a cause which promotes organic crops, the installment and care of beehives near crops and on government park land, encouraging people to have their own hive, and the planting of honey bee-friendly plants, flowers, and gardens.
In addition to creating an advertisement for my brand/social cause, I created one for a fellow classmate's brand. She created "B-Bold", an organization which goes into underprivileged communities and teaches kids to dance.

My name is Jesse Vinet. I am a second year Communication Studies student at Concordia University in Montreal and I am currently studying the 'Intermedia/CyberArts' production stream.
According to Concordia, this production stream "is designed to allow students to combine studies in media arts, new technologies, interdisciplinary practices and performance art. Students may choose from a range of courses in video, electronic arts and/or intermedia/performance, either focusing on a single stream or selectively combining from different streams. The program encourages cross-pollination between traditional disciplines/media and new forms of artistic expression using technology and integrated media."
Thus far, I am learning and experimenting with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash, Adobe Photoshop, and a bit of Adobe InDesign. On top of being a student, I am also an actor and a member of ACTRA. I have done a lot of voice work over the years (example: 'Rosie' on Caillou) and I have also had on-screen experience (example: I was the host of Fun Food Frenzy, a children's cooking show).
